Join us Monday, June 18th for Dr. Saunders' class: Diet as Disease Prevention for Christians
“Balancing the Body” = The Bible contains the keys to the ideal diet for the divine design of the human body ~ An optimal eating plan focuses upon fiber, phytonutrients, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and water, while decreasing saturated and trans fats, cholesterol and chemicals. Food and fitness tips can help us prevent or reverse diseases, while helping to promote optimal health and performance!
Register for "Diet as Disease Prevention for Christians" -- which will be held Monday, June 18th from 7 to 8:30pm in The LockerRoom. The cost for the class is $20 and includes the presentation, handouts and a food demonstration DVD. Register online or stop by the Information Table on Sunday to register. Payment is due the night of the class.
More about Dr. Saunders:
Dr. Kerrie Saunders began her career in 1987 as a Master’s Level psychologist. She earned her Doctoral degree in Natural Health in 1998 after post-graduate coursework at the University of Michigan, Miami University, and Clayton College.
Dr. Saunders is a nationally known Presenter and Author with work featured on television, and in numerous newspapers, e-zines, and magazines, including her popular advice column, “Dear Dr. Kerrie,” in the award-winning lifestyle magazine, VegNews. You’ll hear her through much of Michigan doing ‘Dr. Food’s WMIC/WTGV Nutrition Intermission.’ Dr. Saunders has served as a Global Diabetes Moderator and a Food Demonstrator for both Diabetes Prevention and Cancer Prevention, through the Washington DC-based, Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. She serves as a Guest Chef for Henry Ford West Bloomfield, and Providence Hospitals in Southfield and Novi. She is also the Coordinator of the Michigan Firefighter Challenge, designed to ‘rescue our rescuers’.
Her book, The Vegan Diet as Chronic Disease Prevention, is a Publisher’s BestSeller, now in its 3rd printing, and will be available IN LIMITED QUANTITIES for author-signing after the presentation, along with her brand new Food Demo DVD series, When Bachelor Meets Homemaker! Dr. Saunders provides private consultations in Birmingham and West Bloomfield, and remotely nationwide. She has presented to audiences throughout the US and Canada.
