Week one:  "What's Wrong With Our World"

1. When/where did you first hear the Lord’s Prayer? • What does it mean to you now?

2. If the kingdom of God is a better life, what are you praying for God to make better in our world? • What are your praying that God will make better in your life?

3. Jesus started this better life by bringing the kingdom of God to our world and he is inviting us to participate now: what might be your role in moving the kingdom forward?

Week two:  "You Have Options"

1. What does it mean that the kingdom of God is “progressive” or that it’s growing and moving in this world?

2. Why is repentance (“rethinking”) a key ingredient to “entering” the kingdom of God? • What might we need to rethink about life? • What does it mean to “enter” the kingdom?

3. What is God doing around you that you can participate in? • How can you help bring a better life to this world?

Week three: "What Kind of King or Queen Are You?"

1. Have you ever been cut-off in traffic? What is your immediate response; why?  Have you ever thought about your response?

2. What talent/gift have you been given from God? Does your talent bring joy, peace, and love to others?

3. Proverbs 3:3-4 says, “Let love and faithfulness never leave you... then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.” Luke 2:52 says this same thing about Jesus: “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” What kind of ruler are you?  Is your “rule” characterized by favor and acceptance with God? With other people?
